[CASUAL/FULL-TIME CHEF] CBD JAPANESE CASUAL DINING

Yummy Mono is a new Japanese casual dining and takeaway restaurant, opened in late 2025. With a team of chefs trained in fine dining, we serve carefully crafted, high-quality dishes — without the premium price tag.

Experienced Cook/Chef

The Chef is the back bone of the kitchen team, and will be involved in mis-en-place, service,  plating, stock rotation and general cleaning/organisation. This position will provide the opportunity to learn from some of the best.

Requirements from you

• Applicable trade qualifications and accreditations
• Previous experience in busy cafe, restaurant and/or fine-dining environments
• Creativity and knowledge of current food trends
• Takes great pride and passion in the food you produce
• Aptitude for preparation and planning, with strong organisational skills
• A natural team player who is happy to do their own thing when necessary but also loves the synergy of a great team
• Personal presentation & communication skills are imperative, along with a positive energy & attitude!
• Driven, ambitious and committed!
• Calm and collected - keeps a clear head and stays focused when it gets busy
• Availability on weekends, public holidays and peak busy holiday periods
